Southeast RSM - Pharma & Life Sciences - Pure Water

South-eastern United States | Remote, with regional travel

We are partnering with an established international provider of high-purity water and clean-utility solutions to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for the South-eastern United States.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically credible sales professional with experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life-sciences manufacturers.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for developing new business and managing strategic customer relationships across a territory that includes Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and closing capital-equipment opportunities for pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications
\n
• Developing relationships with end users, engineering firms, consultants and general contractors
\n
• Selling standard and custom-engineered high-purity water solutions
\n
• Managing opportunities from initial technical discussions through proposal, negotiation and contract award
\n
• Growing relationships with Tier 1 pharmaceutical and multinational customers
\n
• Supporting the renewal and development of preventative-maintenance and aftermarket agreements
\n
• Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and activity through CRM
\n
• Collaborating with engineering, project and field-service teams throughout the customer lifecycle
\n

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

\n
• At least five years of technical sales or business-development experience
\n
• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or wider life-sciences manufacturing
\n
• Knowledge of high-purity water, purified water, Water for Injection, distillation, pure steam or sterilisation systems
\n
• A track record of selling capital equipment or complex engineered solutions
\n
• Existing relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, EPCs or engineering consultants
\n
• The ability to interpret technical requirements and develop commercially viable solutions
\n
• A willingness to travel regularly throughout the Southeast
\n

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline would be advantageous but is not essential where candidates can demonstrate strong industry experience.
